Flowers Bloom in when it is below zero

Thought I would mix it up a bit.  There is snow outside and temperatures are in the single digits above zero during the day and below zero at night.  There are still flowers blooming. Just not outside in the vast frozen land I call home.

Snow in black and White

It snowed most of the day to day.  While I was sitting in traffic the too cheerful radio announcer pointed out that it won’t be winter for another three weeks.

The picture was taken in Rice Park in downtown St. Paul on Saturday.  I don’t think it matters if pictures of snow are taken in color or in black and white.

Snow flakes

Posted by Teresa Boardman No Comments »

I think the theory has been debunked but they, and I have no idea who they really is, used to say that no two snow flakes are the same.  I never really believed that anyone could know that much about snow flakes without seeing them all first.  Maybe line them up under a microscope and compare.

The picture is a little macro photography of a hedge in my yard.  Snow really is beautiful, and I am going to tell myself that every day.

Let it Snow

The first snow is the prettiest.  We shoveled out this morning, and the roads are drivable.  The picture is of the Landmark Center in downtown St. Paul.  It looks great any season.
